Began Woodworking
Im Jesse the owner and operator of Modern Carpentry LLC, and I am always happy to bring my postive attitude and full service to all customers. The advice and opinions that I will share with you are proven methods that will help you make the right choices along the way.
It all began in 2013 when I landed my first job as a cabinet builder at a woodwork shop in Suwanee Georgia. I have a long construction history prior to that but when I “specialized on finish carpentry” is when my life began to change.
Transitioning To Installations
The display cabinets and bars we were building at my first woodwork shop were going to commercial grocery stores and restaurants across the country.

Before you knew it a few years into learning the building procedures an opportunity came up to go installing commercial millwork for some big atlanta projects and I was prepared to go for it.

When you get the opportunity to be a part of some of the major projects of a big city of Atlanta, Georgia you get to meet some of the most talented individuals and brightest minds that the state has to offer.
Not only did I grow my horizons with these dedicated Master Carpenters but I gained life long relationships and mentorship from the best in the industry.
Residential Journey
Several projects and years later I ventured out to just doing residential homes mainly kitchen cabinets, crown, and trim. I enjoy the gratification of faster results. Some kitchens we have been able to do in just 1 day compared to investing months on a single job.
The best takeaway from working with homeowners and over 100+ kitchens completed over the years, is that we all expect:
